Mile 800

This morning I rushed away from the slovenly den of Boyscouts at 5:00 am, breaking my 800th mile somewhere around the time of sunrise. Only the pictures can come close to doing my journey justice, because words just don't capture the feelings of standing on the roof of the world! Things seem to get better everyday too- springtime is settling in, and the hiking community is becoming tighter. Also, I have gained about 7 pounds- hopefully accountable in muscle mass.
